I had to remove it to fit it through a hole on my aircraft.

Lastly, the cable has a small nick in it, but it doesn't affect performance, and could be repaired with a piece of electrical tape. This antenna works correctly, but it is missing the plastic cap on the NBC connector. The label was also torn off since it had a piece of Velcro stuck to it.
