I tried this and can really hear lots more traffic. The leather case is very good. Have checked this out and receivers OK. No bats there now.

Has a place on the side to hook up an external antenna. The top part of antenna about 6 is broken off but ant can still be pulled up OK. This is for an old rare Heathkit GR-98 tenable aircraft receiver. Looks good,has a small place on the top cover where paint has been rubbed off.

This works off ac but will run battery's, takes 6 c batteries. And the Bart holder is clean no leakage.
