Not sure on this. I am using two as back-up radios in my planes. However, if you lose your primary radio, this little jewel will come in handy.
I also use one in my hangar to listen the traffic at our little airport. Included in the box is an antenna, charging unit and a users manual. This is a small radio that receives and transmits on I have two, new hand-held aviation radios.
